I joined IISER-TVM in 2013 and am in the process of setting up my lab and research group Vanasiri*. My work so far has addressed different questions in evolutionary biology with butterflies as the study system, and as such, work on these aspects will be the dominant research theme in our group. However, my interests include a range of topics in ecology and evolution, and I envisage research in our group to involve diverse questions in these two fields, using different study taxa.
